History

The doors of the Marguerita C. Johnson Senior Center opened on August 28, 1988. Funds for construction of the facility were provided by the California Senior Bond Act. Through efforts of the Marin City community agencies and volunteers, The Marin City Community Services district was able to submit an application for the needed funding.
